'Magik' #2 Preview Unveils a New Rocking Foe for Illyana Rasputin
Get your first look at Sonic Demon, the electric guitar-brandishing villain debuting in 'Magik' #2.
This week, Illyana Rasputina embarked on a new solo adventure in MAGIK #1 by Ashely Allen and Germán Peralta. While investigating mutant disappearances, Illyana stumbled upon a plot to unleash the demonic entity known as Liminal onto the world. With demons lurking in every shadow of the Marvel Universe, who better to call than the Soulsword-slinging Magik?
Cal Isaac, a young boy possessing clues about this ancient demonic threat, insisted on joining the mutant sorceress on her quest. Together, they now trot the globe searching for the seals restraining Liminal’s reach in the mortal world.
In MAGIK #2, Illyana and Cal’s search takes them to a rock concert in Japan. Except everything is not as it seems when their rocking headliner turns out to be an eerie new foe, SONIC DEMON! With her guitar in hand, Sonic Demon electrifies her audience… literally. Who is Sonic Demon? And what does she want with Illyana?
