WHO IS WHITE FOX?
Ami Han, A.K.A. White Fox, is the last of the mystical nine-tailed fox shapeshifters known in Korean folklore as Kumiho. As Ami learned the magical ways of the Kumiho, her family got caught in the eternal war against the Samjokgu, who preyed on the Kumiho. Growing up, Ami rapidly became aware of how South Korean society and humanity at large viewed Kumiho as monsters, which isolated her from others.
In FUTURE FIGHT FIRSTS: WHITE FOX (2019) #1, Ami joined the National Intelligence Service, South Korea’s primary government intelligence and espionage agency. Under the codename White Fox, Ami defended both South Korea and the Marvel Universe at large, working directly with the Avengers on occasion. In addition to her work as a solo hero, White Fox also joined the rosters of several hero teams, including the Agents of Atlas and Tiger Division.

WHITE FOX’S POWERS AND ABILITIES
With her retractable claws, White Fox possesses superhuman strength, speed, and endurance, as well as other enhanced senses. Ami’s Kumiho heritage also gives her the ability to transform into a nine-tailed white fox, which she showcased to her teammates in WAR OF THE REALMS: NEW AGENTS OF ATLAS (2019) #3. White Fox is also able to command others with the sound of her voice and communicate with animals, a power she notably demonstrated in CIVIL WAR II: CHOOSING SIDES (2016) #6.
White Fox is a formidable master spy even without tapping into her Kumiho powers. A highly trained martial artist through her work with the National Intelligence Service, Ami's top position within the spy agency also gives her access to highly-advanced gadgets and weapons—all of which she expertly uses.

WHITE FOX'S FIRST APPEARANCE
White Fox has quite a unique publishing history in Marvel Comics, first appearing in 2014’s Avengers: Electric Rain, a South Korean webcomic by Young hoon Ko. In her first appearance, White Fox introduced herself as a costumed Kumiho fighting criminals in Seoul just as a cataclysmic weather event rattled the entire city. When that story received its official English translation with AVENGERS: ELECTRIC RAIN INFINITY COMIC (2022) #1, Ami had already started making waves in other comic books and video games.
White Fox made her English-language comic debut in CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS (2015) #1, where she crossed paths with the villainous Maestro and his cosmic plans for domination as she investigated the death of one of her fellow agents. This story revealed Ami to be an experienced hero as part of the National Intelligence Service, working in the field with the moniker Agent F-One.
In the world of video games, White Fox first made waves as a playable character in MARVEL Future Fight. She rapidly became known for her speed, putting her in the same class as other fan-favorite characters like Daredevil and Kitty Pryde. The game also pays tribute to the character’s comic book history, giving players bonuses when White Fox teams up with Black Cat, Luna Snow, and Aero.

WHITE FOX'S NOTABLE COMIC BOOK APPEARANCES
Following her encounter with the Maestro in CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS (2015), White Fox began to play a bigger role in the Marvel Universe, first teaming up with Korean American super hero Amadeus Cho in THE TOTALLY AWESOME HULK (2015) #1.1. That encounter foreshadowed them becoming teammates on the Agents of Atlas, which reformed in WAR OF THE REALMS: NEW AGENTS OF ATLAS (2019) #1. When the Dark Elf Malekith invaded Earth with his monstrous armies, White Fox led the ensemble to defend Asia.
By TASKMASTER (2020) #3, Ami had successfully climbed the espionage ladder to become the Director of the National Intelligence Service, where she oversaw South Korea’s super hero team, Tiger Division. When local mobsters trapped her Tiger Division teammate Taegukgi, White Fox recruited Black Cat to assist her in rescuing him in BLACK CAT ANNUAL (2021) #1. White Fox later embarked on a solo mission where she took on a supremacist group targeting other innocent Korean mythological creatures in WHITE FOX INFINITY COMIC (2022).

In TIGER DIVISION (2022), the whole ensemble banded together to face off against Doctor Doom, an incident that would presage Doom forcibly bringing White Fox and Tiger Division under his control in ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM (2025). Though White Fox appeared to be quelling defiance against Doom throughout Asia in DOOM’S DIVISION (2025), she actually secretly worked with the resistance efforts.
After Doom’s downfall, White Fox resurfaced in DEADLY HANDS OF K’UN-LUN (2026), working alongside and in a romantic relationship with Lin Lie, the current champion of the Iron Fist legacy.

WHITE FOX JOINS MARVEL RIVALS
In Marvel Rivals, White Fox kicks off Season 7, joining the fight as a Strategist, reflecting her leadership position within the National Intelligence Service. Preferring to lead by example, White Fox is best used providing support to her teammates by getting into close quarter combat alongside them. Watch Dev Vision Vol. 15 to learn more!
In the game, White Fox wields the power of her Kumiho (nine-tailed fox) bloodline alongside swift martial arts, adapting her combat style to fit any battle situation. She can use Yeowoo Guseul (fox marbles) to heal allies and damage enemies, absorb and store Kumiho energy, then unleash it to buff teammates and charm foes.
