Marvel’s Wolverine, the highly anticipated game starring the iconic, gritty, claw-slashing mutant launches on PlayStation 5 consoles on September 15, 2026. In collaboration with Marvel Games, Insomniac Games—the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2—will bring the reluctant hero to life with an original story.
As he searches for answers about his past, Wolverine will do whatever it takes, unleashing brutal claw combat, violent rage, and relentless determination, to cut through the mystery of the man he used to be. Beware: spilled guts and broken bones await in the gameplay trailer below!
The trailer revealed at PlayStation State of Play in September 2025 opened with Logan slicing and dicing his way through fire, ice, and guts. From the dimly lit Princess Bar to the barren, cold wilderness, he slashes through foes in a series of locales scattered across the globe. In a particularly brutal showdown, Logan comes face-to-face with one of his nemeses, Omega Red. Thankfully, the mutant hero can count on his regenerative healing factor to keep him in the fight. But everything is not as it seems. Eagle-eyed fans may have caught a glimpse of the shapeshifting Mystique entering the fold. Whatever may lie ahead, he'll face it. After all, he's no hero. He's Wolverine.
