‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Premiere Takes Over Hollywood
Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, and more stars lit up the red carpet, joined by L.A.-area first responders.
Captain America: Brave New World is soaring high.
Stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, and more lit up the red carpet Tuesday at the film’s Hollywood premiere, celebrating the release of Marvel Studios’ latest adventure.
They were joined on the red carpet by Marvel stars Shira Haas, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, Liv Tyler, Carl Lumbly, and Xosha Roquemore, as well as director Julius Onah, producers Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, and executive producer Louis D’Esposito.
As part of Disney’s commitment to supporting both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts following the recent wildfires in Los Angeles County, first responders and their families were invited to attend the event. Deeply connected to the greater Los Angeles area, The Walt Disney Company is honored to host and express its gratitude to these heroic first responders. Attendees included representatives from CAL FIRE, the City of Pasadena Fire & Police Departments, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Los Angeles Police Foundation, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Last month, the company announced a $15 million commitment for immediate response and rebuilding efforts in the Los Angeles area.
Captain America: Brave New World follows Sam Wilson (Mackie) as he finds himself in the middle of an international incident after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Ford). He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
