Carver was among the Lilin that served with Lilith under the soulless man known Centurious. During this time Centurious was seeking to possess the Medallion of Power. Carver would later be responsible for the torture of Johnny Blaze in an attempt to procure the fragmented piece of the Medallion from the body of Blaze.
