Biography
Adora was the wife of Nova Prime (Tanak Volt) and ruler of the inhabitants of Xandar, a war-torn world of triumph and tragedy, traits embodied by its Champions. They were a scientifically advanced humanoid alien race from the Tranta system of the Andromeda Galaxy, the Xandarians maintained a super-powered militia known as the Nova Corps, as well as energy-absorbing Syfon warriors. Adora lost her life when the space pirate Nebula attacked Xandar and killed it's inhabitants. She was returned to life by a cloning process, although her current whereabouts are unknown.
