'Marvel Rivals: Ignite' #1 First Look Sets the Stage for Three Distinct Duels
The one-shot comic spinning out of 'Marvel Rivals' features characters with their new in-game designs by superstar artist Peach Momoko.
This June, the world of Marvel Rivals opens up in the pages of MARVEL RIVALS: IGNITE #1. The all-new one-shot pits characters from the game against one another in three stories by Japanese comic creators Peach Momoko, Yuji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai, and Ryusei Yamada.
Marvel Rivals is a Super Hero team-based PVP shooter from Marvel Games and NetEase Games. The dynamic and fast-paced video game has taken the world by storm with its unique character designs, including those by comic book superstar Peach Momoko. MARVEL RIVALS: IGNITE #1 displays Momoko's dazzling new costumes in full force, with breathtaking new fits for Sai, Venom, the Punisher, Peni Parker, Hela, and Luna Snow.
The stories in MARVEL RIVALS: IGNITE #1 spotlight each creator's distinct style in black, white, and a splash of color. In the match up set by Peach Momoko, Venom sees red in his duel with Sai. In bursts of blue, the Punisher blasts Peni Parker in a brawl brought to you by writer and artist Yuji Kaku. Writer Mitsuyasu Sakai and artist Ryusei Yamada team up to tell a tale of fire and ice as Hela and Luna Snow duke it out in flashes of green.
