Hub was one of the few mutants to survive the Sentinels' attack of the island nation of Genosha. She had allied herself with Unus the Untouchable's gang, as a ploy to gather information for the mysterious Chimére. Hub was a trusted friend of the young telepath Hack. Hub, Hack and their friend Purge attempted to kill the Omega Sentinel but failed. She was among the mutants that lost their mutant abilities due to the Scarlet Witch's reality altering catastrophe known as House of M|M-Day. It was through Quicksilver's use of the Terrigen Mists that her powers were amplified and returned.
